Hello You.
Thank you for sticking around and staying with this blogject for as long as you have.
I want to apologize that I’ve been unable to continue writing on any set schedule over the last year.
The last year of my life has been incredibly difficult and has made the creative work of this project grind to almost a halt which has been painful as a creator when I have this story to get out of me that is urgently laboring to be born.
My housing stability has been in a state of flux as I seek new lodgings amidst the horror of social security disability being toyed with by fascists.
This has been my struggle for the last calendar year.
As a result of these new changes in my life, and due to the interest of you who have been supporting the project, I am launching a Patreon account where readers and supporters can have access to a private Discord server where we can create a troll-free community of safety as you wander down the rabbit holes of deconstruction, politics, safe spaces for those of us with Broken Mirrors to talk about our Whale Vomit, or just being a fan of the work being made here.
The Prodigal Discord Server™ is designed to create that community space where many of us have been silenced or afraid to speak about so many of the things we’ve experienced. I note that many messages I receive from fans/readers folk are worried about outing themselves in the comments. My hope is the The Prodigal Discord provides that space for anonymity and healing and community and that it will develop into a valuable asset for all of us.
As well, a goal that may take longer to bring to fruition until I get a new space to live, I’m seeking to begin producing the Second Draft of The Prodigal which will be in audio theatrical format and available only to Patreon Subscribers.
I know it will take a bit of time for me to be able to land on my feet and pull my life together and I beg your patience. Much is planned and my twerking brain lobes have been itching to create more content for you.
I want to thank you for the time you‘ve invested in this project, and I can’t wait to get the rest of it finished. Supporting the Patreon will help me to achieve those goals.
Thank you for your support of this artwork and I look forward to sharing this next evolution in The Prodigal with you.
